Downloading for Demonstration and Evaluation
You may download a copy of SharpLynx Lite v9 for demonstration and evaluation purposes. The software can be used in evaluation mode for 30 days.
Important: Lynx Software only supports the European firmware versions of Sharp ECR/POS terminals. North American firmware versions are not currently supported, however we would welcome expressions of interest from Sharp ECR/POS distributors/dealers in North America.
Instructions for Updating Licenced v9 Installations
Please note that we highly recommend consulting with your Lynx Software Dealer with regard to software updates. New software features may require changes to existing procedures and your dealer is the best person to provide advice in this regard. You must have a valid SharpLynx Lite v8 licence in order to use this software update.

Download the Full Install file

Make a backup copy of your data file (File > Backup Data File)

Run the install file (SLLv9.exe)

Start the new version of SharpLynx Lite

If prompted to convert your data file click Proceed and do not interrupt the conversion process
